Topic: Palo Alto’s Local Advanced Water Purification System – Operations Planning and
Improving Non-Potable Reuse.
The City of Palo Alto’s Local Advanced Water Purification System Project
construction is underway. Upon commissioning, the facility will improve
recycled water quality to reliably produce up to 2.25 million gallons per day
of enhanced recycled water. The presentation will discuss challenges with
managing seasonal operations, long-term shutdowns, chemical feed optimization,
blending ratios and controls, and site constraints.
Speakers: Kaitie Zusy and Erin Deangelis of Black & Veatch
along with Diego Martinez Garcia from The City of Palo Alto will be presenting
Palo Alto’s Local Advanced Water Purification System Project.
