The O&M Committee Presents: Dublin San Ramon Services District Wastewater Treatment Plant Tour
Click Here for FlyerWastewater Treatment: The facility receives about 12 million gallons of wastewater per day, with spikes over 25 million gallons during the rainy season. The facility treats wastewater to a secondary level through a conventional, non-nitrifying activated sludge process. Treated effluent that is not recycled is safely disposed of through a collectively owned discharge pipe into the San Francisco Bay. Solids Handling: Anaerobically digested solids are stored in Facultative Sludge Lagoons. Each Summer, around 1500 dry tons of Class A Biosolids are harvested and injected into a Dedicated Land Disposal (DLD) area adjacent to the plant Recycled Water: DSRSD produced 1.4 billion gallons of recycled water in 2025. DSRSD utilizes a Ballasted Flocculation system upstream of continuously backwashing sand filters and UV disinfection. In Summer months, the plant can recycle 100% of incoming wastewater flows.Price:CWEA MEMBERS PRICE $45.00 NON-MEMBERS PRICE $60.00ScheduleTIME 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
