In 1925 the Hyperion Screening Plant was constructed on a beachfront parcel owned by the City of Los Angeles. Since then, one of America's largest water reclamation facilities has seen thousands of projects, innovations, and achievements. The constant stream of Hyperion innovations and projects continues, as the team embarks on the next phase developing the Advanced Water Purification Facility. Join fellow clean water professionals from LABS and SARBS as we celebrate the mighty Hyperion at 100. Hear stories from the past, learn about the AWPF project, and take a tour, including an insider's look at the pilot AWPF. Three ticket options due to space constraints: - Morning group 1 tour (includes lunch) - 10:00 am to 1:20 pm - max 30
- Afternoon group 2 tour (includes lunch) - Noon to 2:30 pm - max 30
- Lunch only - max 18
