The City of Santa Rosa’s Laguna Treatment Plant is tertiary treatment plant rated for 21.3 MGD. The City recycles 100% of the flow that enters the facility – creating roughly 7 billion gallons of recycled water. In addition, the Laguna Treatment Plant is capable of generating nearly ½ of the plant’s electrical needs through cogeneration and off hauls it treated solids for use as soil amendment in the agricultural industry.
