The Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is the Sacramento region’s sewage collection, treatment, and resource recovery utility–providing service to more than 1.6 million people. SacSewer is the second largest sewage collection utility in California, and owns and operates the second largest water resource recovery facility of its kind in the nation, the EchoWater Facility. Here, an average of 116 million gallons of sewage is treated per day! Come join us for a behind-the-scenes tour, meet other students, young professionals, and gain industry connections. All are welcome to attend!
