The Sterling Natural Resource Center (SNRC) is a state-of-the-art facility in San Bernardino that provides a sustainable new water supply to boost the region’s water independence. It can treat up to 8 million gallons a day. The SNRC recharges the local Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin and creates new opportunities for the surrounding community.
A networking social will be held after the tour. Location TBD.
Registration fee includes water and light snacks.
Attendee Information
Tour Accessibility and Physical Requirements The tour includes walking through portions of the approximately 20-acre facility and may include climbing and descending stairs. If anyone in the group has mobility concerns or requires accommodation, please let us know in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Appropriate Attire Required All visitors must wear closed-toe shoes. Heels, sandals, and open-toed footwear are not permitted. For safety and comfort, jeans, pants, or slacks are recommended.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required personal protective equipment will be provided by the District, including a safety vest and hard hat. Visitors are expected to wear all required PPE as directed by District staff while in designated areas of the facility.
