Attendance is limited to 60 participants
OVERVIEW: Participants will attend five 50-minute hands-on sessions during this
day-long training seminar. A
total of 5.5 contact hours are available. The presenters are as follow: ·
NETZSCH PUMPS
/ SHAPE INC: “SLUDGE AND SCUM PUMPING
USING PROGRESSING CAVITY AND ROTARY LOBE PUMPS” Covers the operating
principles, components and features of progressing cavity pumps and rotary lobe
pumps. We will discuss applications within a wastewater plant and cover
maintenance teardown. ·
REXA Actuators: REXA will provide hands-on training for their unique electro-hydraulic, fine positioning actuator. A live demo will be on-site so operators can manipulate the device and perform calibration. REXA will also cover theory of operation for electro-hydraulic actuators and preventative maintenance procedures to ensure long-lasting service life.

Instruments: True
NOx testing with portable instruments, and checking the quality of biogas for
co-generation.

Tesco Controls: Training regarding proper control panel
maintenance, good practices and trouble shooting.
·
Franklin Miller Grinders - Operation, Maintenance,
troubleshooting and rebuild of twin shaft grinders.
