DESCRIPTION

Join us on a tour of the Central Contra Costa County Sanitary District (Central San) with emphasis on their Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor pilot for secondary process intensification to remove nutrients while maintaining a low 1.2 day Solids Retention Time (SRT). This could potentially reduce capital costs for the construction of new aeration tanks and clarifiers to meet regulatory limits.

What to bring on the tour? This is an active construction site.
Please make sure to bring the following:

- Closed toed Shoes
- eye protection
- safety vest
- hardhat

The site will provide hardhats for attendees who are not able to bring their own.
