The transition from hard hats to helmets is crucial across all construction & industrial environments to reduce head injuries. This course will give a better understanding of the different standards that are being used in the industry today and what essential features a helmet must possess to provide optimal head protection.

- Understanding TBI’s and the various hazards present in the work environment.
- Recognizing the differences in protection between hard hats and helmets.
- Key considerations when selecting a helmet.
- Comprehension of the testing & specification of the ANSI Type I, ANSI Type II, and EN12492 standards.
- Understanding rotational impact and its significance.
- Familiarity with the ECE 22.06 motorcycle rotational impact test and its equivalent testing for construction and industrial helmets.
