Who Are We?

We are the California Water Environment Association (CWEA), San Francisco Bay Section (SFBS), Students & Young Professionals Committee (SYPC)! CWEA is a community of professionals involved in all facets of the wastewater industry, from operators to lab techs to engineers and beyond! SFBS members work for public agencies, engineering consultants, environmental groups, and more. Our SYP committee works to educate students and young professionals on the water/wastewater industry and offer opportunities to learn, network, and connect.

Our Career Fair:

Please join us for our Spring Career Fair using the online platform, Brazen. Our career fair has been an ongoing success with 100+ students attending annually who are interested in the water resources industry. We hope to continue that success this year and we thank you for your interest and participation.

After signing in, you'll be able to explore the available information and opportunities and participate in 1-on-1 text- or video-based chats with representatives from environmental and water organizations. Share your background and experience and get all your questions answered.

This online platform offers job seekers the ability to:

  • Upload their resumes!
  • "Stand in line" for multiple companies
  • Use their phones or computers
  • Have live video chats with employers
  • Send a follow up note to company representatives
  • Take digital notes following interactions with companies

Who Should Attend?
