Implementing a Chemical Sewer Root Control Program:

Chemical root control is a popular method used throughout the country to treat destructive roots safely and effectively in a sanitary sewer collection system.

This presentation will discuss why you should consider root control to be added to your maintenance budget, the ROl of using root control over pipe replacement and proper methods and chemicals that do not harm your system or the vegetation surrounding it.

Nozzle Training and Demonstration:

This hands-on demonstration will impart practical and theoretical knowledge concerning the safe operation, basic maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of various nozzles and their usage. Material will be presented from an operator’s perspective with an emphasis on proper procedure and safety.

Spill Volume Estimation:

This hands on demonstration will give attendees the opportunity to learn how to accurately estimate the volume of a sanitary sewer overflow. The instructor will simulate a spill in the parking lot and provide information on:

  • Determining Rate of flow
  • Containment
  • Determining Start time
