PFAS: What It is, What It Comes From, Where It's Found and Its Dangers
PFAS the “forever chemical” is in clothing, cookware, cosmetics, sunscreen, upholstery, carpet, and pizza boxes. This workshop includes the award winning researcher Arlene Blum PhD., a State Board representative, attorney, lab specialists and engineers and a public relations specialist. We will cover PFAS management including legislative, legal, lab, and treatment.
Learning Objective(s): 
After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
• Understand the background, sources and impacts of PFAS in the water/wastewater sector.
• Implement a strategy for their organization to address upcoming PFAS related challenges.
• Brief upper management and elected officials on the issues associated with PFAS.
