The need for a formal Ethics and Data Integrity program of training and policy comes from the recognition that such a program will improve the quality of data produced in a laboratory. The improvement occurs when analysts are informed about the proper ways to perform laboratory analyses and the acceptable steps to follow when problems occur during their work. Analysts are taught common scenarios that may be encountered in the laboratory and the ethical choices involved. This training will help meet your laboratory’s annual TNI requirement for 5.2.7 Data Integrity Training under Section 5: Technical Requirements. A certificate of completion will be provided to attendees.
