Presenter, Tray Hall, has been in and around the business his entire life and put this presentation together for our colleagues in the industry. The “History of Sewer Cleaning” takes a look at why, how and where we got started cleaning sewers, visits old technologies and enjoys a laugh along the way.

Dindo Carrillo is a Regulatory Specialist at the Orange County Sanitation District. He has a Master of Science in Chemistry from CSULB and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from UCI. He has sixteen years of regulatory compliance experience with responsibilities in NPDES permit, SSS WDR Order, and Underground Storage Tanks
permit. He was the past Chair of the California Water Environment Association Government Affairs Committee in 2013-2014. He is the current Chair of the Southern California Alliance of POTW Collections Committee 2018-2019. He has been a CWEA volunteer since 2013.
 
 
 
Moderator: Judith Marquez, Environmental Analyst/Project Manager, Owner, Innovare Environmental
 
Judith Marquez, Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management, is an Environmental Analyst/Project Manager and owner of Innovare Environmental, a consultancy specializing in FOG recovery for renewable energy and a circular economy. Judith has managed environmental protection programs with the California EPA and several Southern CA cities, protecting water quality against FOG-related SSOs. She now works with commercial kitchens to improve FOG management and recover it for renewables. She provides solutions to help them meet compliance and manage risk. She is a Director on the SARBS Board, and has interviewed folks on CWEA's Work for Water platform on YouTube.
