Please join LABS to learn about how the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (Districts) have developed an important program to increase organics recycling in Los Angeles County by diverting food waste from landfills and converting this waste into resources. This program helps the Districts’ member cities meet the State’s organic waste recycling requirements and goals to reduce greenhouse gases, including short-lived climate pollutants.

John Robinson has over 25 years of experience in the private sector in California. John has established John Robinson Consulting, Inc. which is a small Los Angeles County based firm which prides ourselves with excellent customer service supporting industrial clients, special districts, municipal clients and water districts. John
Robinson Consulting, Inc. experience is focused on grant applications/administration, planning, preliminary and final design, project management, and construction management supporting water resources projects for recycled water, potable water, groundwater, wastewater, and storm water system. 

 

 

 

Speaker: Johnmar Deguzman, Mechanical Engineer, Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts 

 

Johnmar Deguzman, P.E. is a Mechanical Engineer with Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts. Mr. Deguzman is a project engineer for the Energy Recovery Section and supports operation and maintenance of Districts’ Solid Waste Energy Recovery Facilities and oversees special projects for the Districts’ Food Waste Recycling Program.
