This 2-hour Verbal Judo Safety Awareness Training will cover conflict de-escalation techniques that will help water and wastewater professionals learn how to use communication to diffuse tense situations and prevent confrontations from escalating into violence or aggression. The training focuses on effective listening, empathy, and tactical communication to maintain control, ensure safety, and achieve voluntary compliance. Participants will learn to remain calm under pressure, choose words carefully, and redirect negative behavior, making it a powerful tool for improving workplace safety and reducing incidents of conflict.
