FOG waste is a source of rocks and grit. This material is a challenge for co-digestion facilities because it can damage equipment and accumulate in digesters. This session provides results of screening and degritting performance at pilot-scale when treating 6 percent TS thickened secondary and primary sludge and FOG.

Learning Objectives:
Describe case-study performance of degritting equipment on blended thickened sludge and FOG.
