in Vacaville, Mariani is a permitted industry with an on site pretreatment
system. Mariani engages in the preparation and packaging of various dried fruit
and nut products, for shipment to retail stores. Having inspected Mariani
personally many times, the pretreatment and production facility is truly
impressive, and the work they put into staying compliant with their permit is

The
Mariani tour will be first, and then we will all meet at the Easterly
Wastewater Treatment Plant for a P3S meeting and a one hour presentation by Nicole L Sears from the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District. The presentation title is "Achieving Compliance with Electronic Reporting Regulations (CROMERR)". Through telling the story of how the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District became the first agency in California to implement the Cross-Media Electronic Reporting Rule using software freely available to regulatory agencies by the EPA, the speaker hopes to demystify the process for other agencies.
