Mr. Crawford is a part of the technical support team for the Woodard & Curran contract operations business. With a Masters in Environmental Engineering and 10 years of plant operational experience, he supports water and wastewater projects in their effort to improve data collection, asset management, and operational efficiency. Mr. Crawford is experienced in selection, implementation, and integration of operations software’s such as CMMS, LIMS, GIS, mobile data collection, and BI platforms. He also carries experience on topics such as criticality analysis, RCM, capital planning, and operational optimization.

Ryan Sanford, P.E. Wastewater Process Engineer & Modeler DHI Water
& Environment, Inc. Mr. Sanford works with a team of wastewater process
experts and biologists with experience in chemical and biokinetic process
modeling, process design and value engineering, and operations support for
optimizing wastewater treatment plants and resource recovery facilities to
operate closer to energy neutral. Mr. Sanford specializes in wastewater
treatment plant process evaluation, modeling, and optimization for the retrofitting
of existing infrastructure to meet modern municipality objectives and support
urban water challenges.
Speaker Panelist: Andrew Shaw, Global Practice & Technology Leader, Black & Veatch
Andrew is the past national chair of the Municipal Resource Recovery Design Committee and Automation and Information Technology Committee for the Water Environment Federation (WEF). He serves on several
international committees for the international water association (IWA) and on the board of trustees for the American Association for Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES). He has over 25 years of wastewater treatment experience from 4 continents including operations, design and research. He has conducted planning and design work for several major cities throughout the world including Houston (USA), Chicago (USA), Washington DC (USA), Singapore, and Perth (Australia).
Speaker Panelist: Richard Loeffler, Client Solutions Architect, Xylem
Digital Solutions
Richard is a Client Solutions Architect at Xylem. He spent the first 11
years of his career working in water treatment, chiefly for water reuse in
California. Some of those projects include LASAN’s Terminal Island potable
reuse transformation and Pure Water Monterey. Rich now co-designs intelligent
urban watersheds with clean water utilities to deliver outsized economic
impacts via optimized treatment and conveyance. He holds a Biosystems
Engineering degree from Clemson University.
