management skills and which skills serve leaders best in their role.

COMPETENCIES: Discover the skills required to develop a synergistic work
force including hiring and managing for diversity and effective performance.
• CONFLICT
MANAGEMENT: Managing diverse, effective teams requires an appreciation of
conflict. Learn about harnessing the power of conflict through dialogue to
increase team performance.
• MANAGING
FORMER PEERS: Discuss strategies to help navigate what can be a difficult
transition from peer to manager.
• GENERATIONAL
LEADERSHIP: Gain an overview of generational differences in the workforce
and discuss strategies to reduce problems, harness conflict, and enhance
collaboration.
