The Trainer Academy gives you the knowledge, skills, and tools you need to be an effective trainer (both in-person and online). You will learn how to design an effective workshop and how to deliver that workshop in a way that maximizes participation. You will learn elements of adult learning that will be the foundation for how you design a learning experience.
Learning Outcomes:
• Explore the building blocks of an effective training and what research has to say about how to deliver them.
• Explore the questions that ensure you are delivering a training that will lead to action or behavior change.
• Learn how to use PowerPoint in support of learning.
The Trainer Academy is designed for both novice and veteran trainers.
If you are new to training, you will gain a framework to help you get
started. If you have trained for a while, you will have the chance to refresh your approach and reflect on how to bring the latest in adult learning into your approach.
