Collection Systems Summer Workshop
With California’s wild weather whiplash, collection system
professionals and managers need to be ready for anything. Droughts, deluges,
and more.
CWEA’s Collection System Committee is proud to present a
day-and-a-half workshop in San Luis Obispo so you can build your skills,
network with fellow sewer pros, and prepare for whatever is coming down the
pipeline.
Frontline and management level team members will discover valuable
information with multiple session tracks. Technology vendors will demonstrate the
latest innovations to help you get more done.
This workshop is an important opportunity for our community to
discuss the reissued WDR and share what works and what doesn’t. What does your
team need to get ready? Have ideas to share or questions for state regulators?
FRONTLINE TRAINING TOPICS
Hands-on spill estimation
Hands-on pipe patching
Sewer line inspections and AI inspections
Hands-on bypass pumping
MANAGEMENT LEVEL TOPICS
Review reissued WDR
Implementation success stories
Roundtable discussions to support information sharing
OPTIONAL ADD-ON EVENT: COLLECTION SYSTEMS COMMITTEE SUMMER MEETING
Each year the Collection Systems Committee hosts a summer training
meeting in Morro Bay. This year we’ll roll right from this workshop into our
Friday to Saturday summer meeting (July 14-15). Check “CSC Summer Meeting”
during registration to join both great events. To learn more visit the event
listing on the CWEA calendar.
